Refund Policy

This policy sets out the refund, cancellation and lesson-rescheduling conditions for IB tutoring packages and for the IB Revision, Pre-IB and Mid-IB group programmes purchased through ibcourses.net.

Every order on this site (IB private lessons and the IB group programmes) is placed under our Terms of Sale and Pre-contract Information, which hold the 14-day right of withdrawal, our refund guarantees and the lesson cancellation rules; you accept them at checkout before you pay.

1. Right of Withdrawal (First 14 Days)

Right of withdrawal (first 14 days). You can withdraw within 14 days of the day you pay, without giving a reason. Lessons already given in this period are charged at the single-lesson price, as our Terms of Sale explain; the rest is refunded in full.

2. Cancelling a Lesson Package

You can cancel a lesson package at any time. Lessons already given are charged at the single-lesson price and the rest is refunded. The first-lesson guarantee applies on top.

3. Lesson Rescheduling

  • Cancellations and reschedules notified at least 3 hours before the lesson time are free of charge.
  • Lessons notified less than 3 hours beforehand, or with no notice, are counted as delivered and are not refunded.
  • If the lesson fee is not paid at least 3 hours before the lesson, the lesson is cancelled automatically.
  • Emergencies documented with a medical certificate are considered on an exceptional basis.

4. Refunds on the Group Programmes (IB Revision, Pre-IB, Mid-IB)

On the group programmes, your full refund guarantee runs to the end of the first week of the course you start: if the first week's lessons do not satisfy you, we refund your payment in full. After the first week, group course fees are not refunded. Each group is built around its enrolled students: the class size, the tutor and the timetable are set for them, and when one student leaves, the course changes for everyone else in the group. This does not affect your legal right to withdraw within 14 days of payment: if you withdraw in that period after lessons have started, the lessons already held are charged in proportion to the course and the rest is refunded. Each lesson's recording can be rewatched for 14 days.

5. Refund Process

You can submit refund and withdrawal requests by email to info@testprepeurope.com, via our contact page or WhatsApp. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through Stripe within 5-10 working days. Due to bank processing times, it may take a further 3-5 working days for the refund to appear in your account.

6. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Completed (delivered) lessons.
  • Tutoring relationships terminated due to a breach of the lesson terms.
  • The IA Grader is already free of charge, so no refund applies.
