IB Revision Courses

One-to-one online preparation for the Revision programme

IB Revision is our group programme for the 10 weeks before the final exams: 30 lessons, 45 hours in total, 3 lessons a week, groups of no more than 6, run entirely online. It opens with topic review, moves through past papers and mark scheme work, and closes with mock exams and exam strategy.

Quick Answer

Enrolment opens a term before the exam session, and once a group fills we cannot promise another will open. IA and oral coaching are not part of the programme - those are taken one to one. If the first week convinces you it is not the right fit, we refund the full fee.

About IB Revision Courses

Our IB Revision courses programme is a detailed revision programme offering 10 weeks of intensive preparation for the IB Diploma final exams. We maximise exam success through systematic review of all topics and past paper work.

For each subject, topic review, past paper solutions, mark scheme analysis and exam strategies are applied. Our 10-week IB exam camp includes weekly progress tracking and mock exams.

Different preparation strategies are taught for Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3. Time management, question-type analysis and score-maximisation techniques are applied.

Each week focuses on specific topics. Weak areas are identified and extra work is done. Practice is carried out under exam conditions with mock exams.

Our service is fully online through our own teaching platform. One-to-one or small group options are available.

IB assessment experience

Lessons are, wherever possible, planned with teachers who have relevant subject experience and a strong command of the IB assessment criteria. For some subjects we can offer lessons with teachers who have IB Examiner experience; matching is done based on subject, level and teacher availability.

About grade boundaries: According to the grade boundary documents the International Baccalaureate Organization publishes for each exam session, the total percentage needed for a 7 varies by subject, level and session in a band of roughly 55–85%. Your school's IB coordinator can access the relevant May/November Grade descriptors and boundaries document. In our one-to-one lessons we review the student's realistic grade range together using past-session boundaries and mock results.

Process & Support

At which stages of the process do one-to-one lessons help?

1

Which subjects go into the programme

Revising all six subjects to the same depth in ten weeks is not possible. In the first week we decide together which subjects and which components go in, based on your mock results and your target score.

2

Which past paper sessions to use

Not every past paper does the same job: in some subjects, papers from before a syllabus change no longer apply. We choose which sessions to work through subject by subject, so no time goes to questions that no longer count.

3

The habit of reading mark schemes

The backbone of the programme is comparing the question you answered against the mark scheme. The aim is not to see the right answer but to see which sentence earned the mark. We do that comparison together in every session.

4

Where the mock exams sit

Mocks bunched at the end leave no time to act on them. We spread them through the programme, and what each one exposes becomes the following week's material.

5

IAs and written tasks sit outside this programme

These ten weeks are given to the examined components. Students with an outstanding IA run that work through separate support; we say so at the start so the calendar stays realistic.

Comparing Preparation Paths

The differences between self-study, group classes and one-to-one support for IB Revision Courses

Preparation pathProsLimitationsBest for?
Revising on your own
  • You can give as much time as you like to your own weak topics
  • Past papers and mark schemes are free to access
  • Building a ten-week revision calendar alone and holding it to the end is hard
  • Marking your own past paper against the mark scheme can mislead you
  • There is no measure for how many hours a topic deserves
Students who can build their own schedule and keep to it.
One-to-one tutoring
  • The programme is built entirely around your own gaps
  • Every answer you write is read
  • For the same total hours it costs more
  • You do not get to see other students' mistakes
Students stuck in one particular subject or component.
This group programme
  • A ten-week calendar of 30 lessons and 45 hours arrives already built
  • In a group of at most 6, everyone's answer can be looked at
  • Past paper and mark scheme work is the backbone of the programme
  • It is a group programme, so the pace cannot be set entirely by you
  • No single topic can take more than the group's share of time
  • Three lessons a week is fixed; it does not suit a student wanting a different intensity
Students looking for a structured revision calendar before the exams.

Lesson packages

Not happy after the first week of group lessons? Full refund. Split 10 and 20-lesson packages across any subjects you like, with no expiry date.

If three or more friends want to study together, you can open a closed group of your own at the same price. How a private group works

Study Plan Framework

A typical 4-phase structure for IB Revision Courses in one-to-one lessons; adapted to the student's exam date.

  1. Topic review

    weeks 1-4

    • Topic-by-topic revision in the chosen subjects
    • Closing the gaps the mocks exposed
    • The typical exam question at the end of each topic
  2. Past paper work

    weeks 5-7

    • Working through the sessions chosen for each subject
    • Comparing answers against the mark scheme
    • Drawing out the error types that keep recurring
  3. Mock exams

    weeks 6 and 9

    • Full-length papers under real exam conditions
    • Carrying what each mock exposed into the next week
    • Measuring time management
  4. Exam strategy

    weeks 8-10

    • Question choice and time allocation
    • Techniques for collecting partial marks
    • What to do with a question you cannot answer
  5. Exam-week routine

    the final week

    • A daily plan built around your exam timetable
    • Cutting the final revision list down
    • Sleep and pacing

This framework is a sample plan; it is customised for each student based on exam date, target grade and current level.

How One-to-One Lessons Work

The general structure of IB Revision Courses sessions

We close gaps rather than teach new content

With ten weeks left, reteaching the syllabus is neither possible nor necessary. The programme is built on the gaps your mock results expose, and how many sessions a topic gets follows from that measurement.

The mark scheme shows where the marks leak

Most students lose marks even on questions they knew, without knowing why. We put every answer next to the mark scheme and mark which line earned which point. A recurring error type usually closes the first time it is seen.

Groups of at most 6

The group stays small so that everyone's written answer can actually be looked at. It is still a group programme: the pace follows the group and no single student's topic can take unlimited time. We say so upfront to anyone who really needs one-to-one work.

A written progress report every week

We share which topics were revised, the mock results and what comes next, in writing, every week.

Where Students Struggle

Adapting to the IB exam format and assessment criteria
Meeting the standards in the Internal Assessment (IA) process
Time management and completing the extensive syllabus
Understanding the IB assessment criteria and shaping answers accordingly

Our experienced IB teachers guide you through overcoming these challenges.
