How Does the IB Tutoring Process Work?

We explain our whole process transparently, from the free consultation to your first lesson. All lessons are fully online, held via our own custom-built live tutoring platform.

Quick Answer

The process runs in four steps: (1) in a free consultation we identify your needs and target grade, (2) we match you with an IB teacher suited to your subject and level (HL/SL), (3) we set up a flexible lesson schedule around your availability, and (4) you start one-to-one or group lessons on our live online platform. Feedback and progress tracking continue throughout.

The Step-by-Step Process

Every student has a different starting level, goals and schedule. That is why the process is not a fixed package but a flow planned around you.

  1. Free Consultation

You reach us via WhatsApp or the contact form. We discuss which subjects (HL/SL) and topics you need help with, your target grade, your exam timeline and your available times. This consultation is free and carries no obligation.

  2. Teacher Matching and Plan

Based on your needs, you are matched with a teacher experienced in the relevant IB subject. The match considers subject, level, target score and availability. A study plan is prepared around your starting level and goal.

  3. Flexible Lesson Schedule

Lessons are planned around the times you are available. We offer lesson slots suitable for different time zones across Turkey, Europe, the US and Asia. We decide on weekly lesson intensity together, based on your goal.

  4. Live Online Lessons

Lessons take place on our own custom-built live tutoring platform, with an interactive whiteboard, screen sharing and lesson recordings. You can continue in one-to-one or small-group format.

  5. Feedback and Progress Tracking

After each lesson, concept reinforcement, past-paper practice and feedback are provided. For IA, EE and TOK work, guidance and draft review are given in line with the IB assessment criteria.

  6. Exam-Period Revision

As the final exams approach, you prepare through the IB Revision Camp and intensive revision lessons, practising with past exam questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are lessons one-to-one or in groups?

Both are possible. One-to-one tutoring focuses entirely on you and lets you set the pace. Group lessons let you progress with a small group of students at a similar level at a more affordable cost. In the consultation we decide together which suits you.

Which platform are lessons held on?

All lessons are fully online, held on our own custom-built live tutoring platform. It includes tools suited to IB lessons such as an interactive whiteboard, screen sharing and lesson recording. You do not need to install any separate software.

I live in a different time zone — can I still take lessons?

Yes. Our students join from different time zones including Turkey, Europe, the US and Asia. We schedule lessons around your availability.

Is the consultation paid?

No. The consultation we hold to understand your needs and goals is free and carries no obligation.

No specific IB grade, university admission or academic outcome is guaranteed. The process is tailored to each student's needs.
