One-to-one online preparation for the Mid-IB programme
Mid-IB Revision is the 5-week group programme we built for the summer between IB 1 and IB 2, taught online in groups of up to 6. We refresh IB 1 content before it fades, use mock papers to surface the weak areas, and get the IA projects that stall over the holidays moving again.
Quick Answer
Enrolment opens in June and groups are split into morning and evening so they fit different school calendars. Students who want to push an IA forward over the summer can add 60-minute IA sessions alongside the programme. The fee is refunded if the first week does not satisfy you.

About Mid-IB Revision Courses
Our Mid-IB Revision courses programme is a 5-week intensive review programme that helps students consolidate what they learned at the end of IB 1 and move strongly into IB 2.
All topics in the IB 1 curriculum are reviewed. Weak areas are identified and extra work is done. Preparation for IB 2 topics begins.
Support is also provided for IA projects. IAs started in the IB 1 period are reviewed and improved.
Mock exams are used to assess the student's current standing. Individual study plans are created towards target scores.
Our programme is held during the summer break between IB 1 and IB 2 (June-July).
IB assessment experience
Lessons are, wherever possible, planned with teachers who have relevant subject experience and a strong command of the IB assessment criteria. For some subjects we can offer lessons with teachers who have IB Examiner experience; matching is done based on subject, level and teacher availability.

About grade boundaries: According to the grade boundary documents the International Baccalaureate Organization publishes for each exam session, the total percentage needed for a 7 varies by subject, level and session in a band of roughly 55–85%. Your school's IB coordinator can access the relevant May/November Grade descriptors and boundaries document. In our one-to-one lessons we review the student's realistic grade range together using past-session boundaries and mock results.

Measuring which topics need revising
Revising all of IB 1 to the same depth in five weeks is not possible. In the first week short mock papers measure what has actually been forgotten, and the programme is built on that measurement rather than on guesswork.
Getting stalled IAs moving
An IA left half-finished over the summer costs far more in September, when the first months of IB 2 are already full. We give those projects separate time inside the programme, aiming at least to close the question and method stages.
Formal feedback stays with your school
Approval and formal feedback on your IA come from your school supervisor; we work on the structure and the method. We say so at the start so nothing is a surprise in September.
A plan for the first month of IB 2
By the end of the programme you should be holding a study plan: which subject on which day, which deadline when. We draw that up together in the final week; a plan made at the end of summer actually holds in September.
No new content
This programme is not for getting ahead on IB 2 topics. The aim is to make IB 1 solid and close the outstanding work - which is what leaves the first months of IB 2 free for new material.

How One-to-One Lessons Work
The general structure of Mid-IB Revision Courses sessions
The mock decides what gets revised
Students' guesses about what they have forgotten are usually wrong: the topic they feared is intact and the one they thought was easy has gone. So we open with short mocks in the first week and build the revision list from the results.
The IA moves before the summer ends
A half-finished IA ends up running alongside new content in September and both slip. We give those projects their own sessions inside the programme, aiming to close the question and method and enter September with a draft.
We do not teach new content
These five weeks are not about getting ahead of IB 2. Once IB 1 is solid and the outstanding work is closed, the first months of IB 2 are free for new material anyway. We keep that order.
