IB tutoring is priced per lesson: one-to-one HL/SL lessons run 90 minutes and IA / EE / TOK lessons 60 minutes, with the per-lesson rate falling on the 10 and 20-lesson packages. Packages can be split across any subjects, carry no expiry date, and if you are not happy after your first lesson you get a full refund.

Can I split a 10 or 20-lesson package across subjects?
Yes. Your lessons belong to you, not to a subject. If Maths is the problem in January and Physics in March, move the remaining lessons across — 3 lessons of Maths and 17 of Physics, for example. You do not have to declare the split in advance.
- No limit on the number of subjects: split 20 lessons as widely as you like.
- No expiry date: unused lessons are never lost.
- Tutor matching is done separately for each subject.
- You can change the split at any point during the programme.
IB tutoring prices: frequently asked questions
What is the hourly rate for IB tutoring?
One-to-one lessons are priced per lesson rather than per hour. An HL/SL lesson runs 90 minutes. IA, EE and TOK lessons are 60 minutes at the same per-lesson rate, because those sessions carry more out-of-lesson draft reading and written feedback than teaching time.
How much cheaper are group classes?
One subject on the IB Revision camp is 30 hours of group teaching, at roughly half the hourly cost of one-to-one tuition. Group classes are capped at 6 students.
How is payment taken?
Payments are taken once, through Stripe. The euro amount shown is the final amount you pay, with no FX surcharge added at checkout.
Is there a trial lesson?
We do not sell a separate trial lesson. Instead, if you are not satisfied within the first week you get a 100% refund on unused lessons, and you can change tutor within your first 2 lessons. The free consultation is not a lesson — it is a level and planning assessment.
Does the price include IA or EE support?
HL/SL packages cover concept teaching, problem solving and past-paper practice. IA, EE and TOK have their own package (60-minute lessons) because that work needs rubric review and written feedback. We work out which one fits in the free consultation.
What happens after payment?
You are taken straight to the tutor matching form. Once we have it we reply on WhatsApp within 24 hours and agree lesson times. After your first lesson you receive access to the recording and a progress report every two weeks.
What affects the pricing?
IB tutoring fees aren't based on a single hourly rate. The factors below determine the final plan and total cost.

The HL, SL and IB 1 / IB 2 distinction: package pricing varies because exam format and content depth differ.
Type of Support
Teaching + problem solving and IA / EE / TOK mentoring require different focus; lesson hours and the process are designed accordingly.

Per-lesson cost drops in larger packages. Time remaining until the exam date affects weekly lesson count.
