This policy sets out the refund, cancellation and lesson-rescheduling conditions for IB tutoring packages, IB courses and the IB Revision Camp purchased through ibcourses.net.
1. Full Refund Within 14 Days
In line with EU consumer law, within the first 14 days of a package you may request a refund for any lessons not yet delivered and receive 100% of their value back. Lessons already taken in this period are deducted at the standard per-lesson rate.
2. Partial Refund Between 14-30 Days
For refund requests made between day 14 and day 30, 75% of the value of unused lessons is refunded. Lessons taken are deducted at the standard per-lesson rate.
3. After 30 Days
For refund requests after 30 days no cash refund is made; however, unused lesson credit can be transferred to another subject or programme.
4. Lesson Rescheduling
- Reschedules notified at least 24 hours before the lesson time are free of charge.
- Lessons notified later than 24 hours in advance, or with no notice, are counted as delivered.
- Emergencies documented with a medical certificate are considered on an exceptional basis.
5. IB Revision Camp Refunds
Cancellations made up to 14 days before the camp start date receive a full refund, those made 7-14 days before receive a 50% refund, and cancellations with fewer than 7 days remaining are non-refundable. Lesson recordings are retained for the duration of the camp.
6. Refund Process
You can submit refund requests via our contact page or WhatsApp. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through Stripe within 5-10 business days. Due to bank processing times, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
7. Non-Refundable Cases
- Completed (delivered) lessons.
- Tutoring relationships terminated due to a breach of the lesson terms.
- The IA Grader is already free of charge, so no refund applies.
